FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

I hate this question. Purely because for me I don't think a sunny outdoor wedding in August should look the same as an indoor Autumn wedding. They are polar opposites.
I just try and keep in line with the style and vision of your day. Keep things relaxed, simple, natural & document your day as it unfolds.
Like to keep my images consistent and true to my artistic eye and vibe.
Now I love to add a sprinkle of magic here and there when the idea comes to me.

I know my style isn't for everyone and that's absolutely fine. Hopefully by looking through my website and Instagram etc you can feel yourself of what im about.

I just want to produce high quality, crisp clear, authentic images for you.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR FULL GALLERY?

Within a week (usually a couple days) of the wedding you will get a preview gallery from me which will have anywhere between 50-150 images. Just a little snippet of the day and to tide you over until the full gallery is ready.

The full gallery is ready anywhere between 8-12 weeks. Usually around the 10-12 week mark during peak wedding season.
For your full gallery you could receive anything over 500 images. Again depends on wedding package etc.
WHAT HAPPENS IN WORST CASE SCENARIO?
Its the morning of your wedding and I wake up ill. Nightmare. Don't worry. It would need to be a very very bad illness for me to not just suck it up and power through.
Saying that I am only human and humans get poorly sometimes.
I will never call you and just say i'm not coming and leave you in the lurch. I will always call and give you as much notice as possible and will have a replacement ready to come and swoop in and save the day.
I will then edit them as I would've have normally.

I always carry spare camera, lenses, batteries, SD cards. I come home and back up onto 2 external hard drives & will not delete from SD card until your gallery is finished and handed over to you.

I do everything in my power to ensure worst case scenario. Is just that. A scenario.

WILL YOU HOLD A DATE FOR ME?

General short answer is no. Ive been bitten too many times when I first started and lost out on 1 too many weddings.
Now saying that if you are sure you want to book me and definitely want me shoot your day but payday is a week or 2 away I will keep a note of it & if anyone else enquires about that date I will let you know and we can go from there.
Weddings are expensive I am aware of that so we can work together for sure.
CAN WE TELL YOU WHAT SHOTS WE WANT?

Yessss within reason. Group family shots always end up being stressful and not just for me, for you guys stood there waiting for someone to come out the loo, to get them out of there room or the bar etc. It also takes time away from me wandering through your guests and capturing what's going on in real time & most importantly it takes time away from you both mingling and spending time with your friends and family.
My advice is to always keep your shot list to the absolute must haves 5-10 at most.
If you book me, trust me. Catching people candidly is always so much fun and more natural.
DO YOU DO VIDEO TOO?

Nope I don't. I don't know how people do both. They are magicians.
I have however worked with lots of amazing videographers and if you go to my suppliers list you will find ones who I can personally vouch for and know they deliver the good stuff.
